Insight Systems Corporation seeks a highly motivated Website Manager/Webmaster to work within the Web Portfolio to raise the profile and advance the learning and knowledge sharing objectives across various USAID programs, initiatives, and online platforms. The right candidate will be a highly organized, personable, and strong communicator, extremely well-versed in web and mobile site usability and best practices.

If you are detail-oriented, enjoy interacting with co-workers and clients, are assertive, have experience managing large Drupal sites, and are excellent at articulating the tenets of web usability to both technical and non-technical people, we want to talk to you.

  • Develop and implement an analytics strategy, including user testing and surveys, based on meetings, focus groups, surveys and/or interviews with clients, users, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports for the client on trends, website statistics, and usability utilizing Google Analytics and other web monitoring tools.
  • Coordinate with the Web Portfolio Manager/Lead Developer to develop and implement a QA plan for content, functionality, and design.
  • Perform functional testing and write/administer test scripts.
  • Define SEO success metrics, develop and manage high-quality reporting, and communicate performance and insights that show progress toward KPI’s involving user data.
  • Moderate comments and discussions for abuse.
  • Monitor site traffic performance.
  • Train key clients and users in how to use the site.
  • Assist the Communications Team in messaging for rollout and outreach.
  • Navigate the websites to view and maintain content for accuracy.

Key Qualifications

  • 4+ years managing websites, microsites, etc.
  • Deep understanding of current and future digital trends across all platforms.
  • Aptitude for understanding technical subject matters; ability to quickly grasp core ideas of varied and complex topics required.
  • Client-oriented and ability to manage fluid processes with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to handle competing and/or tight deadlines; great organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  • Excellent communication skills essential; copyediting skills, highly desired.
  • Relevant advanced degree
  • Knowledge of the intended audiences desired; prior USAID experience preferred.
  • Approval to work in the United States
